If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.
Luke 19:40

Our second lesson:
Philippians 2:5-11 NIV

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

PHP 2:6 Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

PHP 2:7 but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.

PHP 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death--
even death on a cross!

PHP 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,

PHP 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

PHP 2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God the Father.

Gospel Lesson : Luke 19:28-40

After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them,

1. Who will silence His Praise?

In Jesus day we know the Pharisees sought ways to silence the disciples. Can you think of any that try to silence the Gospel message today?

2. Who will sing his praise?

Each believer knows the precious good news. Jesus love compels us to speak to those around us.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
